B&W began in 1996 in the garage of David and Joanne Trumbauer, fueled by their passion for machining, problem-solving, and prioritizing family. Starting with two mills, limited resources, and a vision of independence, B&W Machine Works consistently exceeded expectations, sparking steady growth. As demand increased, the team added a lathe, quickly outgrowing their original workspace. After operating for years in a unit at an industrial park, B&W moved to its current facility in Perkasie in 2019, continuing to evolve in step with its customers' needs.
We have embraced challenges as opportunities throughout our journey, applying a problem-solving mindset to foster growth. Our team has approached problems with a “how and why” perspective for over two decades, building a reputation for flexibility and determination. This proactive approach has forged strong, lasting relationships with our customers.
We treat each project as unique—whether crafting a single optical lens housing for space exploration or producing thousands of custom fasteners for industrial automation. While the tools and methods may overlap, we tailor our solutions to meet specific needs. Our meticulously engineered and documented processes ensure that every part meets the exacting standards essential for our customers’ success.
At B&W, we strive to be more than just a machine shop. We aim to serve as a trusted partner, delivering innovative solutions and collaborating closely with our customers to achieve their goals. From our humble beginnings to today, our commitment to excellence, adaptability, and collaboration defines who we are.
